Bodies Education...

In 2010 Bodies in Motion achieved recognised centre-status with Active IQ, the awarding body of choice for the Active Leisure Sector.   Centre-status has enabled us to deliver a variety of health and fitness qualifications, including (but not limited to) Level 1 Award in Active and Healthy Lifestyles and Level 2 certificate in Fitness Instructing, helping to improve the future career aspirations of local individuals seeking to pursue a career with the vibrant and expanding health and fitness industry.

In addition, we have AQA centre-status, providing us with opportunities to address the changing educational needs of the local community.  We have the ability to deliver recognised AQA awards or develop bespoke training packages, reacting to the needs of an evolving job market in real-time.

We have a history of delivering to people from a broad range of backgrounds and have recently been selected as the health and fitness training provider of choice for Inspire, the integrated substance misuse service for East Lancashire.  Working in partnership with the Recovery Team and Work Solutions we have been able to, not only provide fully funded health and fitness facilities (studies have demonstrated the positive effect that a healthy and active lifestyle can have on helping to ensure a successful recovery journey), but also provide accredited training and improve the future career prospect for individuals recovering from the effects of subsstance misuse and addiction.
